These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of meralink (“meralink”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), available at meralink.in(the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use. You may choose a username subject to availability; we may reclaim usernames that infringe rights or impersonate others.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post or link to content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringes the rights of others.
- Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content, or attempt to compromise the Service or its users.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate any person or organization.
- Sell prohibited or regulated goods and services, or violate any applicable law.
- Scrape, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you publish on your meralink page (“Your Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to publish it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
5. Payments and bookings
meralink lets you accept UPI payments and manage bookings, leads, and enquiries. For payments, meralink only displays your UPI details and helps you record requests — payments are made directly between the payer and you through a UPI app. meralink is not a payment processor, bank, or party to any transaction. You are solely responsible for fulfilling bookings and orders, for the accuracy of your prices and UPI details, for any refunds or disputes, and for any taxes that apply to your business.
6. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with third-party services, such as Google Calendar and Google Business. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and links to external sites do not imply our endorsement.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the meralink name and logo, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the Service normally.
8. Plans and changes to the Service
We may offer free and paid features and may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where paid plans are offered, the applicable pricing and billing terms will be presented to you before purchase.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, meralink will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold meralink harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
